This window sill (header) comes standard wrapped with reinforcing fiber netting which just like foam will not rot from exposure to moisture and is alkali resistant, its job is to reinforce the cement coating which is applied over the exposed sides of a sill providing impact and crack resistance. Netting in combination with an acrylic polymer modified cement base coat provides a shell over a foam core shape cut per your specifications. Foam contains no formaldehyde, no HCFC’s, no thermal drift, and is non-corrosive. Benefits of foam trim over wood trim are that it will never change its shape (twist, warp, split etc.), it will never rot, minimal to none maintenance, it will not get destroyed by termites, limitless and attractive forms of design, and ease of installation and repair. Available in all finish types and is ready to install.
