These shutters surpass the vinyl shutters in its appeal and thickness, richer and much more realistic looking. They also surpass the shutters made out of wood for longevity - will not rot, crack, split, twist, warp and chip paint. Their sealed one piece design practically eliminates insect habitat behind them, and much easier to clean than vinyl or wood. Shutters come standard double coated with stucco base coat reinforced with fiber netting which just like foam will not rot from exposure to moisture and is alkali resistant, its job is to reinforce the cement coating which is applied over the exposed side of a shutter (face and edges) providing impact and crack resistance. Netting in combination with an acrylic polymer modified cement base coat provides a shell over a foam cored shape cut per your specifications. Foam contains no formaldehyde, no HCFC’s, no thermal drift, and is non-corrosive.
